Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-08-07
These terms govern your use of this website and the inquiries you send us through it. They also set the general framework for bookings with Storybook Entertainment. By using this site, you agree to them.
Every confirmed event is also covered by a written booking agreement. Where that agreement and this page differ, the booking agreement governs.
Inquiries and bookings
Sending the inquiry form starts a conversation. It reserves nothing, and it commits neither of us. We reply, talk through what you have in mind, and prepare a proposal for you.
Your date is held only once we have issued a booking agreement, you have signed it, and any retainer named in it has been paid. Until all three are done, the date remains open to other clients.
Pricing
Prices shown on this website are starting figures for planning purposes. They are not quotes. Price varies upon date, time, and length of visit, and your proposal carries the figure that applies to your event.
Travel to Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Arcadia, and Desert Ridge is free. All other locations add $20 per performer or host.
Payment terms, including any retainer and the schedule for the balance, are set out in your booking agreement. Corporate clients are invoiced on standard commercial terms, and we can provide the documentation your accounts department needs.
Changes, cancellations, and rescheduling
Requests to change the date, the run time, the characters, or the scope of an event are welcome and are subject to availability. A change may affect the price.
The terms that apply if you cancel or reschedule, including which sums are refundable, are set out in your booking agreement. Please read that section before you sign.
Very rarely, something outside our control makes an event impossible to produce as planned: severe weather, a venue closure, illness, or similar. If that happens we will work with you to reschedule or to agree a fair resolution.
Casting and substitutions
We cast each event ourselves and we stand behind the standard of the performance. Because our cast are working theater professionals, we reserve the right to substitute a performer of equivalent skill and training where circumstances require it.
Characters are performed in the style of well-known figures. We are not affiliated with, and we are not endorsed by, any film studio, publisher, or rights holder.
What we need from you
So that we can produce your event safely and on time, please give us access to the space at the agreed hour. We also need somewhere for the cast to change, and reasonable shade, shelter, and power where the event calls for it. Arizona conditions make shade a genuine safety matter for a performer in a full costume.
Adult supervision of guests remains with you as the host throughout.
This website
The text, photography, design, and other material on this site belong to Storybook Entertainment or are used with permission. You may not copy or republish them for commercial purposes without our written consent.
We keep the site accurate and current, and we may change or remove any part of it at any time. Availability, characters, and pricing shown here can change.
Where we link to another website, we do so for your convenience. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Liability
This website is provided as it stands. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude warranties that are not stated here, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site.
Our liability in connection with an event we produce is addressed in your booking agreement. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute arising from them belongs to the state or federal courts sitting in Maricopa County, Arizona, and we each agree to that jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. The terms in force when you sign a booking agreement are the ones that apply to that booking.
