Accessibility

We want every family and every planner to be able to use this website, including visitors who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced motion. This statement explains where the site currently stands and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

Conformance

We measure this website against Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. The site is partially conformant with that standard, which means it meets Level AA in the areas we have tested, with the exceptions listed further down.

We describe the site this way deliberately. Automated tools find only part of what matters, and we would rather name the gap than claim a level we have not finished proving.

How we tested

This is a self-assessment carried out by WorkWise Solutions, who built the site, on 8 August 2026.

• Automated testing with axe-core 4.12.1 against the full WCAG 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2 Level A and AA rule sets, plus its best-practice rules.
• Sixteen page templates were checked, covering every distinct page type on the site rather than a sample of the homepage.
• That sweep returns no violations at any severity level.
• Testing was run at both desktop and mobile sizes, because some parts of the site appear only on a phone. Google Lighthouse scores the site 100 out of 100 for accessibility.
• Every result the tool could not decide on its own was then checked by hand. This mostly meant text placed over photography, where contrast was measured against the actual image.

What we have built in

• A skip link, so keyboard visitors can jump past the navigation on every page.
• A visible focus outline on every interactive element, shown for keyboard use.
• Text contrast that meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 minimum, including over video and imagery.
• Headings that follow a logical order, so screen-reader navigation reflects the page.
• Descriptive alternative text on photography, and decorative images marked as decorative.
• Respect for the reduced-motion setting in your operating system. When it is on, animation is removed rather than merely slowed.
• Background films that carry no sound and can be paused with a labelled control.

Known limitations

We are recording these openly because they are the honest state of the site today:

• No screen-reader audit yet. Our testing so far is automated plus manual inspection. A hands-on pass with NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver is scheduled, and until it happens some issues may remain that automated tools cannot detect.
• The digital lookbook. Its page-turning viewer comes from a third-party library and has not been fully assessed for keyboard and screen-reader use. If you have trouble with it, contact us and we will send the lookbook in another format.
• Third-party pages. Booking and scheduling steps that continue on another company's website are outside our control, and their accessibility is set by that provider.
